The Bear Hosts a Hunting Contest

With the bears all fed and the camp littered with fish bones, the male bear explains to his female friends that he did not intend to draw so many of them out of the woods and that in order to aid in his choice, he is hosting a hunting contest. Most of the bears decide immediately that he isn't worth the effort and take off, but three females decide to stick it out and head off into the woods to begin their hunting.

You sit with the bear and wait.

"Should I pick the female who brings in the first kill for being the fastest?" he asks.

"Or would it be better to pick the female who brings the largest kill because that will last the longest?"
